Timothy is a Trans Tasman award winning NZ Law Awards Mediator of the Year 2017 working as counsellor, mediator, supervisor, Balint group leader and therapist with over 30 years experience in his field of work. He is widely trained in his chosen profession having studied in the UK, in California and in recent years in New Zealand.

He is also a published author and a fully qualified accredited FDR (Family Dispute Resolution) Provider also known as a Family Mediator.    He maintains a very small private practice at his Auckland rooms situated at 88 Jervois Road, in Ponsonby, where he is able to see individuals and couples on Saturdays and occasionally weekday evenings. 

Timothy is involved Nationally and Internationally in the world of Balint Groups and is an accredited Balint Group Leader.
